1. Who we are and what this policy covers

NetDesk ("NetDesk", "we", "us") provides a software platform that helps mortgage professionals, realtors and homeowners insurance agents capture leads, book consultations and follow up with clients. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on our website and through our services, how we use it and the choices you have.

If you are a customer of a NetDesk client, such as a person who filled out a form on a loan officer’s or agent’s page that runs on NetDesk, that business decides how your information is used. Please read that business’s own privacy policy and contact them with questions about your data.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, book a consultation, contact us or sign up, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, company, role, team size, goals, appointment preferences, the content of your messages and your consent choices.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website we may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and the date and time of your visit, using cookies and similar technologies.

Information from your use of our services. If you are a NetDesk customer, we process the contacts, messages, call records, appointments and other business data you load into or collect through the platform.

3. Sensitive information

Please do not send us Social Security numbers, bank account or card numbers, loan applications or other sensitive financial documents through our website forms, text messages or email. Use the secure systems your lender, broker or insurer provides for that purpose.

4. How we use information

  • To respond to your requests and schedule consultations.
  • To provide, operate, secure and improve our website and services.
  • To send service messages, confirmations, reminders and follow-up that you have asked for or agreed to receive.
  • To send marketing emails, where permitted, with a way to unsubscribe in every message.
  • To measure how our website is used and understand which content is helpful.
  • To detect, prevent and respond to fraud, abuse and security issues, and to meet legal obligations.

5. Text messages and phone calls

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send messages about your request, appointments and our services. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

We may also call you about your request. If you ask us not to contact you by phone or text, we will honor that request.

6. Email

We send emails you request, such as acknowledgments and follow-up, and marketing emails where the law allows. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email. We may still send you essential service messages after you unsubscribe from marketing.

7. Automated tools and AI features

Some parts of our services use automated tools, including AI-assisted text replies and calling features. These tools may process the messages and call details involved in your conversation to respond and keep records. Please do not share sensitive information in those conversations. Automated responses can be imperfect, and a member of our team can step in at any time.

8. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers. With companies that help us run our business, such as providers of hosting, email, text messaging, calling, scheduling, analytics, AI and payment services. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of NetDesk, our customers or others.
  • Business changes. In connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business, with notice where required.
  • With your direction. When you ask us to share it or give your consent.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar tools to keep our website working, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, our cookie banner. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

10. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, respond to you, meet legal, accounting and security requirements and resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can opt out of marketing emails and texts at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy laws, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.

13. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Links to other websites

Our website may link to other websites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
